Center for African American Health (CAAH) partners with JVA on the Colorado Compassion Initiative (CCI), a capacity building program for faith-based and community organizations that provide services to people 55 and older and involves this population as leaders and volunteers. CCI is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. CAAH and JVA have successfully partnered together for over nine years. In our current partnership, CAAH developed a health and wellness resource guide for agencies serving diverse older adults and will work with JVA to provide technical assistance on providing culturally appropriate health education and outreach services. Colorado Nonprofit Association partners with JVA to provide funding opportunity research and listings to nonprofit organizations throughout the state.
Daniels Fund partners with JVA on the Colorado Compassion Initiative by supporting a number of its own grantees and providing an in-kind match for CCI. Click here for more information on CCI.
National Center for Social Entrepreneurs (NCSE) partners with JVA to provide social enterprise training and consulting to organizations seeking to develop social enterprises. A certified partner of NCSE, JVA works with rural and urban nonprofit organizations to develop and launch social enterprises that support a double bottom line. Current JVA/NCSE partner projects include our work with CCI grantees and grantees of the Strengthening Communities Fund.
Telluride Foundation partners with JVA on a Strengthening Communities Fund (SCF) grant to support job creation via social enterprise and nonprofit capacity building training and technical assistance in high-poverty southwestern communities of Colorado. SCF is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families.
