Does JVA have experience working with culturally diverse clients?
JVA has extensive experience working with communities of color and has several bilingual Spanish-speaking staff members. We have worked with client organizations active in the following communities: African American, African refugee, American Indian, Cambodian, Chicano/Latino/Mexicano, Hmong and Vietnamese.
How does JVA charge?
JVA will work closely with you to create a customized flat-fee approach that fits your needs and capabilities. JVA adheres to the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Code of Ethics and does not accept percentage or commission-based compensation. For more information on why, click here.
Does JVA run capital campaigns?
JVA does not serve as capital campaign counsel nor do we conduct feasibility studies. Rather, we work with organizations to help them think through their readiness and capacity to engage in capital campaigns as well as support entities already engaged in such campaigns.
Will JVA fundraise for my organization?
JVA does not fundraise on an organization’s behalf. Rather, JVA works to advance the long-term sustainability of your work by providing services that develop your staff and board members’ skills, expertise and ability to diversify your funding base and raise more money. We also work with our clients to develop competitive foundation, corporate and government grant proposals.
