JVA's Executive Director Academy (EDA) is a seven-week (Spring) or one-week (Fall) crash course for those on the fast track to nonprofit executive directorship. The academy—an intensive course for prospective, new and learning executive directors—includes sessions on management, governance, fundraising, finances, marketing, grantwriting, evaluation and more, all tailored to the new ED.

Each session is geared to the things that nonprofit executive directors need to know right now to be effective in their jobs. All session are taught by JVA experts in the field who share with you what they know works (it’s not just theory!). EDA graduates report that they not only have additional skills and knowledge to excel at their job, they have the confidence to do so.

Classes Monday through Friday, September 20–24; 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday
$895 tuition (payment plan available), which includes meals, all resources and materials
